Consumer Critique: Fotor 2.0

I recently had a chance to try out the premium version of Fotor 2.0. Fotor is graphic arts/photo editing cloud-based software with an impressive list of features.

On the photo editing side, you can do pretty much anything you'd expect to be able to do - filters, color adjustments, retouching, and more. It also has thousands of templates for graphic design, which makes it easy to find tools to help you get started, even if designing brochures and publicity materials isn't your strength. They have templates for logos, flyers, gift certificates, and much more. You can add banners and stickers, and make it look either cutesy or professional. The available options allow for nearly every style you can think of.

They have a free trial, and then it's $8.99/month ($11.99/month for the Pro+ version). You can get it for just $39.99 or $89.99 if you sign up for a whole year at a time, which is a significant savings. While there are free photo editing options out there, they don't have quite the breadth of features. Fotor pricing compares pretty closely to other photo editing software subscription options, and has most of the same features (obviously every program is just a little bit different, and some of it comes down to personal preference with certain features).

I was really happy with what I was able to do with Fotor. If you're looking for a photo editing or graphic design option, check out their free trial!
