Consumer Critique: Hip Appeal

Being a busy mom is often a juggling act. You need to carry all the stuff, and still keep a hand free to grab wayward children. It's helpful to have everything close by while keeping your hands free, but backpacks are hard to get at and fanny packs are typically not fashionable.

Now, Hip Appeal makes stylish fanny packs. It's a simple fabric wrap that goes around your waist - and stays put pretty well. There are small pockets that fit phones, keys, and credit cards, and are easy to access when you need them, but out of the way when you don't. I really enjoyed using mine. I was surprised at how well it stayed put while moving around. It shifted a bit while jogging, but not terribly, and never felt like it was going to fall off. The one I received was a beautiful turquoise blue, but it's also available in other colors. They're made in the USA; you can buy online or find a retailer near you.
