Book Nook: Hedgehugs

HEDGEHUGS is written by Steve Wilson and Lucy Trapper. This is the first book of many hedgehug books to come, and brings a new sensibility to learning about the seasons in a sweet, spiky way.

The first book, which I got a chance to review, is a cute tale about how the hedgehogs learn to hug, without their spikes getting in the way. It's adorable, fun to read, appropriate for young kids, and enjoyable for adults to read during family time. The story concept was very appealing to my kids, and it was a family-friendly story that helps gently encourage perseverance and problem-solving.
