For the holidays, Faithbox is going beyond the typical subscription service to offer a special
one-off box, in addition to its regular subscriber box, specifically
designed to be used as Christmas gifts for loved ones.
Faithbox is
a new subscription box company that meets growing consumer demand by
focusing on three unique components: growth, discovery and giving.
Faithbox's Christmas box is the perfect way to give a gift and give back
at the same time because the products featured in the box are
eco-friendly and from philanthropic-minded companies.
"There
is no better time to give back than during the holiday season," said
Willie Morris, founder and CEO of Faithbox. "The Faithbox team kept this
in mind while we curated the Christmas box by partnering with
organizations who regularly give back as part of their business model."
The one-time-only special Christmas box contains subscriber favorites including: a Giving Keys necklace, Askinosie sipping chocolate, Keepcup reusable coffee cup, World Hope donation gift cards, Faithbox holiday scarf and Everyday Faith devotional.
The regular December subscriber box features products around the theme of giving and will include Mitscoots socks, handmade ornament from Anchored in Hope, Project 7 Cinnamon Chocolate mints, two World Hope donation gift cards – one to use and one to give away – and Everyday Faith devotional.
For every box purchased, including the special Christmas boxes, a hungry child is fed through a partnership with Rice Bowls.
Already the partnership has provided 50,000 meals and is estimated to
contribute 10,000 meals per month moving forward. In addition, many of
the companies whose products are featured in Faithbox make one-to-one
charitable contributions. This combination makes Faithbox inspirational,
practical and philanthropic.
Research
shows consumers are becoming more educated and aware about the products
and companies they support. A 2015 study by Good Must Grow found that
32 percent of Americans are planning to spend more with companies who
are socially responsible, and 64 percent confirmed the importance of
buying from socially responsible companies.
"This
Christmas we are excited to provide people with a gift option that has a
deeper meaning," said Morris. "The consumer landscape is changing, and
we're happy to be a part of that by helping others make a difference and
give back in a tangible way."
