Consumer Critique: Snapbac

Snapbac is a new line of clothes that offers wearable compression & temperature therapy. You freeze or microwave a Snapbac “temperature pod”; slip it into the built-in pouch on Snapbac’s compression shorts, shirt, or elbow/knee sleeve; then go about your day.

I got a chance to try out the knee sleeve. My husband occasionally has knee problems so I thought that would be perfect to try out. Even using just the sleeve helps give a little extra support when he's taking sports photos (squatting and bending a lot, so it can aggravate his knee) and it is very convenient to be able to put an ice pack right in the sleeve, so he doesn't have to worry about it sliding around if our kids come up and try to sit on his lap while he is icing. It's also great to have the option to ice or heat, because sometimes one is more effective than the other.

There are a variety of options, depending on where you typically have pain - sleeves for calf, elbow, or knee pain (can also be shifted slightly to hold ice on the ankle), shorts for upper leg issues, and shirts for shoulder and low back pain.
