Jesus is the Friend who is always with you.  Jesus Today: Devotions for Kids is based on the truth that Jesus is a Friend who is always with you.  Each devotion is Scripture-based and is written in a conversational tone appropriate for kids but not too childish and condescending. It's adapted from the ECPA 2013 Christian Book of the Year-winner Jesus Today, with the same things, making it a great option for overall family devotions, with the older family members going more in-depth with the adult version.

I had a chance to review this devotion, and it was appropriate for my 6- and 8-year-olds, while still being written in a way that would work for older kids without talking down to them. The devotions are comforting, well-written, and Biblically sound.
