Consumer Critique: Halftee

The innovative Halftee makes the layered look even better, with a slimmer, cooler option. It provides the coverage of an undertee to layer under shirts, but is slim fitting, so it doesn't add bulk. The cut ends just under the bustline, which makes it cooler to wear than a full undershirt and prevents bunchy material that a t-shirt can have. (It has the added benefit of fitting throughout pregnancy, since it doesn't go over the belly at all.) It's even reversible, to provide two different neckline options.

I had a chance to try out a sample, and I really liked it. It was comfortable, I didn't have to worry about undershirts bunching up, and it gave a different look to clothes I already wear. Styles for kids include basic, boyfriend (a slightly longer sleeve), long sleeve, and burnout (a lacy pattern in the sleeve). For women, there are a dozen style options in all. Some styles are only available in a few colors, while others come in a whole range of colors. Prices are from $18.99 to $34.99.
