Airplanes have been around long enough that they seem common place - but they weren't always. Living in the Age of Airplanes is a film I recently got to review that takes viewers across all seven continents to illustrate just how connected we all are in a way that wouldn't have even been imaginable a century ago. It's narrated by Harrison Ford, with music by James Horner, which really adds to the interest in the film. It weaves together history and science in a way that will appeal to anyone interested in airplanes. My kids enjoyed using it for part of their homeschool days, and I learned quite a bit watching it too!
