I recently had the chance to try out SwapTales: Leon! (iOS and Android) This is a unique app that encourages kids to solve problems by swapping words in the story. It's a great game for any kid who enjoys to read and solve problems, but can also help weaker kids learn to read more carefully as they look for the words to switch. Designed for ages six and up, both my seven and nine year old enjoyed the story, although it was much easier for my older daughter to solve.
