Book Nook: 20 Ways to Make Every Day Metter

New York Times bestselling author Joyce Meyer has a new book releasing tomorrow that I got to review, 20 Ways to Make Every Day Better. This is a very practical title - who wouldn't want to make their days go better? Especially when we're having one of "those days" - the kids won't pay attention, the boss gave us too much work to do, the commute home took longer than expected, and now there's an argument over what dinner will be.

Many times, we're tempted to just muddle through the rest of the day and hope for a better day tomorrow. But the more we do that, the more we can be tempted to spiral down on bad days, making them even worse. With the tips and insight in Joyce's book, we can lift ourselves out of the spiral and make even the "bad" days into good days.

This book isn't a magical set of rules to fix every problem; instead, it's a set of insights, rooted in Biblical principles, to find the joy even in the struggles and to find contentment even in disappointment.

Right now they're running a promotion - if you order the book before April 31st, you’ll receive a free downloadable sampler from Joyce Meyer that includes LIVING BEYOND YOUR FEELINGS, BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND, OVERLOAD, and LET GOD FIGHT YOUR BATTLES. That is available here: http://www.faithwords.com/20ways. You simply have to fill in your name, email, and upload a copy of your receipt.
