Enriching Education - Wiggle & Learn: "Thank You"

It’s all about gratitude and thankfulness in the upcoming “Wiggle and Learn” episode from The Wiggles, the world’s most popular children's entertainment group. Perfectly timed to coincide with Thanksgiving, the episode is devoted to thanking those in our community who help keep us safe. “Thank You,” will drop on The Wiggles YouTube Channel on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th.

Children will join all The Wiggles (Lachy, Simon, Anthony, John, Caterina, Lucia, Tsehay and Evie), as well as Dorothy The Dinosaur, Wags The Dog, and social media sensation, The Tree of Wisdom, as they sing and dance to songs expressing gratitude to key workers who our community depends on each and every day: the fireman, doctor, trashman, paramedics, police, nurses, crossing guards and many more.

In the beginning of the episode Simon helps John, Tsehay and Anthony where they each reinforce the importance of saying “thank you” to Simon for his help afterward.  Lachy sings “Here’s What We’re Doing Today,” which is helping our neighborhood by helping our community workers.

Then Lucia helps Holly Dolly with her fear of going to the doctor.  The “At The Doctors” song shows children what happens when you go to the doctor – “there are toys in the waiting room, you can listen through a stethoscope…they have everything that will make you feel better….”

Next Caterina thanks all of the firefighters, explaining to children that they rescue people and are very brave.  The Wiggles join to sing “The Firetruck Song” with a country-western flair…their new favorite music genre!

Make way for another ditty about our everyday heroes when Simon leads “The Lollipop Song” paying tribute to the crossing guards that carry the STOP sign and keep us safe from traffic. Lachy and Tsehay need help building with their toy blocks. Construction worker Zak lends a hand, and they both thank him.

“Thank You” has a running time of 30 minutes, and like all of the episodes in the Wiggle and Learn series, it explores crucial early childhood themes, offering a comprehensive and engaging educational experience for young learners.
