Book Nook: Duct Tape Bags - 40 Projects for Totes, Clutches, Messenger Bags, and Bowlers

From the author of the #1 best-sellers, Tape It & Make It, Tape It & Make More and Tape It & Wear It comes the fourth book in this revolutionary “duct tape craft series:” Duct Tape Bags: 40 Projects for Totes, Clutches, Messenger Bags, and Bowlers. Richela Fabian Morgan is continuing to take the crafting and fashion world by storm, turning the humble roll of duct tape into the trendiest craft item since glitter glue.

Honestly, duct tape crafts have been a think for years - since I was in high school. Recently, it's become even more fun to do duct tape crafts with all of the various patterns available, and the fact that it now comes in sheets! I had a chance to review this book, and my daughter and I got a kick out of it.

Some of the bags actually look pretty high-fashion, which is surprising! We weren't able to make any look quite as good as the pictures, but it was really fun to personalize a bag out of duct tape using our favorite patterns. The instructions were easy for me to follow, and pictures made it easy to see what the finished bag should look like. Even my 9-year-old was able to make a bag fairly well on her own. It's a fun book for anyone who loves the idea of making things with duct tape.
