Stay at BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch and take a hayride from the barn to our Enchanted Lake this October, then to our pumpkin patch, where you’ll pick your very own pumpkin! While you’re here, get ready to smile for the camera! Our award-winning photographer will take journalistic photos of you and your loved ones among the boldest colors of the season. BYO pumpkin carving kit and after, carve funny, silly or spooky faces into your pumpkin at the barn. Take photos and enter into our “Creative Pumpkin Carving Contest” that will be held on Saturday, October 31st. An independent judge will pick the winner from the photos who will receive a one-night (week-day stay) in the future at BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch!v(winner will be notified by phone/email)

$89 for up to a family of 4 (plus cost of accommodations & tax). Call us to customize or add additional guests. Upgrade to a 30-minute mini photo shoot for just your group for $299 or a private 2-hour session on the patch or elsewhere on the ranch with Skeeter Hagler, a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, for $499.

For kids under 10 years old, consider adding a 30-minute lead line Children’s Horseback Ride for an extra memorable experience $39.

About BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch

Set on a 500-acre working ranch, BlissWood Bed & Breakfast Ranch is a remote and rustic hideaway an hour west of Houston. The B&B consists of 14 cabins and cottages of varying size, with woodsy furniture, full kitchens, sitting areas and porches. Some include pull-out fireplaces, whirlpool baths, hot tubs, and/or shared or private outdoor pools. All accommodations include Continental breakfast delivered each day to guests' doors. Private exotic safaris, animal feeding tours, hiking trails, fishing lakes, and activities, including: trapshooting, horseback riding, archery and scrapbooking round out the experience for an added fee.  Pets are allowed; bikes and golf carts are available to rent.
