Area Attractions: Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze

It wouldn’t be fall in Minnesota without a visit to the farm for . Despite COVID-19, the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze is open, but necessary changes to the festival were made to ensure the health and safety of guests and employees.

This year’s 20-acre corn maze celebrates the University of Minnesota. Ski U Mah! While navigating the maze, visitors can participate in a scavenger hunt to find Minnesota Gophers people, places and things. Farm-goers can also enjoy a pumpkin patch, a sunflower field, weekend hayrides, food trucks, and a fall marketplace offering pumpkins, gourds, apples, winter squash, corn stalks, straw bales, mums, and more. Even Fido can enjoy the farm this year as long as he’s on a leash.

Every day from September 19 – November 1
Weekday hours: Noon – 6 pm
Weekend & MEA (10/15 & 10/16) hours: 10 am – 6 pm

Admittance to the farm is free. Corn maze tickets, which on weekends include a hayride to the pumpkin patch and sunflower field, are $6 per person on weekdays and $8 per person on weekends. Children 3 and under are free. Concessions and marketplace purchases are not included in the ticket price. Masks are encouraged but not required.

Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze opened in 2010 in an effort to provide Minnesotans with a world-class fall festival and corn maze. The maze has always celebrated Minnesota—from its sports teams to its most recognizable icons. And the event itself has always supported Minnesota nonprofits—donating more than $200,000 over the last 10 years. This year’s event supports the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Fund.
