Enriching Education: Free LingoCamp

Calling all campers! Today Lingokids kicks off “LingoCamp,” its free online summer camp for kids ages 3-8. The magic of summer is here, and Lingokids is inviting families to embark on an 8-week learning adventure featuring new games, chants and songs and activities on the Lingokids app. Every two weeks, Lingokids will release a variety of new camp-themed learning activities in its app for campers to play and read through, ranging in topics from building STEM skills, vocabulary and spelling, concentration games, recycling, mindfulness, as well as physical activities to get kids moving outside.

With kids out of school, longer days and a lack of constant routine, summer can be exciting, yet a little overwhelming for families. Plus, with some activities and camps still restricted due to the pandemic, LingoCamp gives families a fun and free way to get that camp experience safely at home, while having some regular, special moments that kids can get excited about in their everyday routine.

One benefit of LingoCamp is that it can be something that can be enjoyed as a family, when screen time is over:
  • Why not set aside space at home that you can treat as your “camp?” Find somewhere comfy and visit it all together once a day to complete the LingoCamp activities and pretend camp together.
  • Make sure to continue practicing the activities and the vocabulary your kids have learned once LingoCamp is over.
  • Why not take a walk in nature, where your kids can point out the names of bugs they see? Prepare a picnic inspired by our “Picnic Sticker Game!”
  • Take some time out of your day to practice meditating together, inspired by “Get in the Zen Zone."
To become campers at LingoCamp, families just need to download the free Lingokids app to have immediate access to the content that will be released every two weeks starting today.
