Country crooner,
Logan Crosby, effortlessly paints the picture of love in his latest single “If You Ask Me,”
available everywhere. The stripped-down song beautifully describes the emotions behind a man asking for his girlfriend's father's blessing to propose. The Georgia native sat down with Nate Kenyon to write this endearing track that reflects on the nerves Crosby's heard his friends describe as they prepared to ask the question. Crosby sings
– Son you best know what that means / That there means forever, through the good and the bad together / So, shake my hand if you can guarantee
“'If You Ask Me' is a story. It's one of those songs that just falls out,” shares Crosby. ”Nate and I wrote this one pretty quickly because these are things that everyone goes through when getting married. Nate got married not too long ago, so these emotions were fresh for him. I've got a lot of friends that are engaged, so weddings and marriages are always on our mind. So, we wrote a song about it.”
Produced by Ilya Toshinsky and J. Michael Harter, “If You Ask Me” marks the second release for Crosby. The Country newcomer premiered his first single, “If Jesus Was A Cowboy” on the breakthrough ABC reality competition show “Claim to Fame.” Always dressed in his signature “Suits and Boots” attire, Crosby's charismatic personality and colorful, southern inspired one-liners made him an instant hit amongst viewers and led him all the way to the finale during the debut series.
Building on his success on the show, Crosby made the move from Georgia to Nashville to pursue Country music full time. The Country newcomer will be focusing his time on writing new music to keep up with his rapidly growing fan base. Stay up to date with Crosby on
