World Wisdom: Net Zero Speaks with Sam Fankhauser

The challenges faced by the world’s nations to replace fossil fuels that are damaging our environment with renewable energy and technology is a critical global priority. How do you solve a societal challenge of this magnitude?

In Net Zero Speaks with Sam Fankhauser, Fankhauser tells Net Zero’s climate entrepreneur and the Founder of Cool The Globe, Prachi Shevgaonkar, that, “climate change is so urgent we have to throw a portfolio of solutions at the problem. The pressure from young people has really been transformative. Young people have got the climate change message across and it’s been powerful.”

Fankhauser is Professor of Climate Change Economics and Policy at the University of Oxford, the Research Director of Oxford Net Zero and a visiting professor at the London School of Economics.
