Book Nook - Spooky Celebrations Around the World

 I recently had a chance to review Spooky Celebrations Around the World. Although the target age, according to the description, is 5-8 years old, it's actually a fun book for people of all ages who love learning about cultures and like all things spooky.

The book described several celebrations that many people may already be familiar with. But then it detailed quite a few more than I had never heard of or only heard of in passing. The text clearly describes the festivals, and the layout is engaging and easy to read. The illustrations are perfect - at the same time bright and inviting while still being spookily appropriate. My high school kids both enjoyed this book, even though they're well above the target age!
