Book Nook - Houseplants and Their F*cked-Up Thoughts

We have a bunch of houseplants. Some of them are thriving. Others, no so much. My older daughter also likes botanical illustrations, so I was happy to have a chance to see a review copy of Houseplants and their F*cked-Up Thoughts.

This book was pretty much exactly what I expected - snarky statements, full of judgment, directed at those who own and often neglect their house plants. It's as if the nursery was full of stuck up, snobby, pretentious plants who were too good for anyone. Don't expect to find any actual plant care advice (although there is a section for watering and edibility on each page). Many common house plants are featured, all with fun illustrations and funny commentary.
