Book Nook - Marked (Morningstar Academy)

 I had a chance recently to read book three of the Morningstar Academy series, Marked. This book continues on in following Gladriel, her fallen friends, and her former squad, as they try to stop the prophecy from playing out - a prophecy that threatens to destroy the world as they know it.

This book was equally as interesting and gripping as the first two, with Gladriel refusing to fully become like the other fallen. It gives a few of the other fallen characters a little more depth, and also has Gladriel come to terms with a few major issues - why she was thrown out in the first place, and her relationships. She and her friends are put in a difficult situation that will test their loyalty.

Just like the other books, this one ends on a cliffhanger that makes me eager to see how the series will play out. Whether you are religious or not, this book is intriguing, interesting, and fun to read!
