Saving Money on Food, Part II

If you live in Minnesota, check out Fare for All, a program run by the Emergency Food Shelf Network that is open to everyone. June's special pack is a grill pack, which works out to 14.25 pounds of meet for $22 - just over $1.50/lb! If you aren't in Minnesota, it's worth checking out the website for your state's food shelf network to see if there are similar options.

Where we used to live, there was a discount food store that sold overstocks and scratch-and-dent goods. Does anyone know of any in the St Paul area?
