Parenting Pointers: Cradle Cap

This week, I'm starting Parenting Pointers. I've run across so many great little parenting tips, and I want a chance to share them with anyone else that will find them helpful. If you have a tip to share, email me to have it included in a future edition!

My baby was born with hardly any hair, and it hasn't really grown in much. What is there is really blond, and it's easy to see the scalp.. Since we haven't had to comb or brush it, cradle cap is a problem for us. She likes baths, but doesn't like it when I scrub a washcloth on the top of her head (she likes to be able to move her head around). I ran across the idea somewhere to put shampoo on a baby brush and scrub the scalp gently that way - and she loves it, plus it helps cut down the cradle cap. It doesn't clear it all up right away, but after a few baths, it's definitely much less noticeable.
