Brring is a website where you put in your number and it assigns you another number. When someone calls your number, they hear a brief (10-second) ad and then the call is forwarded to your personal number. You can also customize your ringback tone.

I use Brring when I'm signing up on websites, to protect my private number. But if you are willing to profile your friends (customize their interests so that if you receive a call from their number, they get a targeted ad) you can make more. You also make $0.05 for each person you tell your number to.

I don't believe you get paid for everyone who calls you. Like I said, I use my number to protect my private number. If I see my Brring! number on caller ID, I let it go to the macine, since it's most likely a telemarketer. But it's also a potential money maker.
