Parenting Pointers: Communication

One way to help keep the lines of communication open is to create an indoor mailbox system. Notes can be stuck in each person's mailbox for special occasions or just because! We used things like this when I was in high school among our peer support team to help support each other. It was always fun to get the "mail." In college, on-campus mail was free, and my friends and I were constantly sending each other little notes. We loved seeing things in our mailbox, and the post office workers enjoyed seeing what we sent around!
