Thrifty Thursday: Half.com/Mr. Rebates

My husband needs some books for professional development. He gets up to $200 reimbursed. So we could have just paid the sale price at Amazon.com ($116) which wasn't bad (about $190 full price), but I did a little extra legwork and got them at Half.com for $103, plus a $5 rebate through Mr. Rebates. $98 for $190 retail - good deal! Plus, it means that instead of going through his whole budget, we still have half of it left!
