Parentise is a new website launched by Andrew Howard. It's currently a beta, so some features are still in the testing phase, but it's a fully functional website for parents to read and write reviews.
Because it's in beta, Andrea is very open to feedback and suggestions. I like that in a website. I also like that it's written by real moms and dads, reviewing things they care about. Also because it's in beta, there aren't very many reviews yet. However, as the site becomes more popular, it should become more fleshed-out. Categories include child care, educational programs, medical services, services for parents, infant/toddler programs, and safety services. There are also links to other child-related news stories.
There are several features in the works, including RSS feed, discussion threads, contests, and more. I encourage you to bookmark it and check it out as it grows! If you like sites like Lilaguide you should definitely check out Parentise!
With this website spotlight comes a giveaway! Andrea is giving a copy of an Oscar the Pig book written by Megan Calhoun (founder of TwitterMoms. To win, all you need to do is go to the Parentise blog and leave a comment with a link to this post. You can get extra entries by following Parentise on Twitter or becoming a fan on Facebook.
