I finally got around to trying a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Like in last week's reviews, I was somewhat under-whelmed. With all the hype I've heard, I expected it to clean up pretty much every single stubborn stain around! It performed well, but I just had expectations that were so high it couldn't quite reach them.
For general clean up, the Magic Eraser was really easy to use. And it did make quick work of moderately tough stains, like greasy spaghetti sauce - but so do my regular cleaners (baking soda and vinegar). The one place it did out perform was on markings on the walls (which I had to create since my daughter is too young to make) - but I've never had to test any other cleaners on those either! What disappointed me was the stubborn stains in my tub and on my stove that baking soda and vinegar won't clean off. The Magic Eraser did get some of it, but with a lot of elbow grease and not much more than anything else has worked.
I'll continue to use it, since it does work very well for most average messages. But it isn't quite the "magic" that I had hoped for!
