Time Tidbits: Wee Web

Wee Web is a new website devoted to making it easy to share information about your child with friends. The sign up process is a breeze - put in your name and email, click on the confirmation link, and you're ready to go. There are four main types of things to add: photos, videos, pages (blog-style entries), and blurbs (micro-blog entries - think Facebook status or Twitter).

Wee Web has two big advantages over other websites. It is extremely simple to use - I got it set up and had a blurb and photo posted within less than five minutes. It is also easy to add friends and family email addresses to be able to have them notified of news updates you post.

Wee Web's only disadvantage is that parents with more time/energy/creativity who prefer to be able to customize the look really don't have any options. But as a time-saving way to contact friends and family quickly, I find that Wee Web could be even faster than email, and allows friends and family to look back at previous entries as well.

If you want an easy way to share pictures and snippets about your kids, go check it out!
