Parenting Pointers: Bedtime Connections

I just read a wonderful idea in the latest issue of WonderTime magazine. A reader submitted the idea of having her daughter pick a word, and she would talk about what connections she had with it from her childhood. This makes for a nice, easy way to start conversations and let your kids get to know you, as well as open the door for more serious topics.
