Parenting Pointers: Eyedentity Labels

I just ran across a neat little product in Redbook magazine. They are made by Eyedentity Label and they are temporary tattoos designed to help provide information about your child.

The creator, Zephora Haddon, came up with them when she was worried about keeping track of her two active sons. The labels can be personalized with phone number, medical info, and allergies, or any other information you want to put on them. And what kid doesn't like temporary tattoos? Best of all, they're waterproof and last for nearly two weeks, so they work well for vacations.

Even if you don't ever use Eyedentity Labels, the whole point of this pointer is to make sure your kids know how to get a hold of you. No matter how vigilant you are, it's always possible that your little ones may disappear momentarily, especially in a crowded environment. Making sure that they have something that can help them contact you, and that contains important emergency information (particularly for kids with severe allergies), can make it a lot easier to keep them safe.
