Our daughter is almost 18 months old, so she's getting good at repeating. Today we had Animal Planet on while I was folding laundry (she likes puppies). She was flipping through a photo album and not paying a whole lot of attention to the TV, until there was a scene where the trainer was telling the owners that they used "no" so much it didn't have meaning anymore. Then they showed a series of little 1-second clips of how many times they said "no." She looked up and started saying "no no no" at the TV. It's amazing how their ear can pick up on things even if they aren't paying attention!
