Time Tidbits: Gifts
You can save a lot of time buying gifts if you buy ahead. When things are on sale that you know a future recipient will like (or are good generic gifts for casual friends) buy them ahead of time. Or, choose a gift for a year. A friend of mine is very good with crafts. One year everyone got a crocheted scarf for their birthday. The next year everyone got a necklace. She personalizes them by choosing colors/stones/etc that fit the recipient, but it saves her time because she can make them all at once or whenever she has time to do it.
