Charter is a cable company that also offers phone and internet. They are available in certain areas throughout the United States (in Minnesota they aren't available in the middle of the metro area but they are available in the suburban/rural areas surrounding it).
Right now they are offering a sweepstakes for new and upgrading customers. They are offering customers who order services at Charter.com a chance to win a 22” flat screen HDTV every day throughout April. If you upgrade, you also have a chance to win a grand prize package that includes a 52” LCD flat screen HDTV, a Home Theater System, and one year of free Charter Digital Cable® service with HD programming. You will also get a $150 gift card if you order three services on the website.
Charter has sponsored a lot of giveaways in the past, including an Xbox360 and hybrid cars. They're also moving into Twitter and other ways to become more accessible to customers.
Charter’s prices are comparable to that of other companies that offer cable, Internet, and phone. If you aren’t happy with your current service, or want to shop around for a better price – or if you don’t have service and are interesting in adding it – then check out what they have to offer and see if they can provide a better option for you.
Like any sweepstakes, purchase is not mandatory; you can enter even if you don't purchase a package by going to the website and registering.
