Thrifty Thinking: More Natural Spa Treatments

Stem and mash three strawberries with a tablespoon of honey. Massage into your face for three minutes and rinse. The fruit enzymes exfoliate dull skin, and the antiseptic properties of honey help reduce breakouts.

Stir two tablespoons cornmeal and one tablespoon mashed banana and massage on feet to moisturize, exfoliate, and act as a mild antifungal.

Mash a banana and half an avocado together, then rub on dry hair and cover with a shower cap. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse with cool water. The potassium and fatty acids soften hair.
