Parenting Pointers: De-Cluttering - Small Storage

We've taken a look at various rooms around the house; now lets look at creative and cute ways to store things that might show up in a variety of rooms.

Accessories (purses, belts, necklaces, anything that hangs) - create a row of knobs. Cut and paint a strip of wood, then attach knobs to the front and use as a whimsical place to hang things that varies from traditional hooks.

Small accessories (jewelry, change, cell phones, receipts, etc) - keep small baskets, teacups, or jars where stuff accumulates. You'll still have accumulations, but they'll be more contained and easier to clean around (and harder to lose).

Magazines - store in a flat basket that can slide under furniture (this also works for crocheting/knitting supplies or some crafting supplies).

Small crafting supplies - store in a series of glass jars on a shelf to make it easy to find what you need.
