World Wisdom: Hand Washing

Did you know that hand washing in cold and lukewarm water is as effective at killing germs as hot? The soap and the friction kills germs, not the water temp (which needs to be scalding hot to truly kill germs alone) - the advantage that warm and hot water has is with grease. So don't worry about waiting for the water to warm up, just wash your hands in whatever comes out of the tap.
