Info: Blog Tour! (part 1)

It's been a while since I've done one of these, and I'd like to highlight some new links I've added, and other things for those of you who are newer to the website. So feel free to take a look around, especially if you're a subscriber who doesn't often click through to the site.

Up at the top you'll see some links to the main things you can find on this blog: meal ideas (healthy, kid-friendly, inexpensive, and/or easy), money makers (legit ways that you can make money from your computer), shopping savings (focusing on Cub and Rainbow, although I'll do other stores if there are enough requests for them), time savers, world wisdom (easy eco-friendly advice), freebies, parenting tips, money savers, reviews of various products, free activities (games and things you can do at home for free or very cheap), local attractions (the Twin Cities, MN area), helpful websites, my giveaways, and sweepstakes I find around the web.

Now, although I don't blog specifically for the money, it is nice to get a little bit back for my time. So if any of the things on the sidebars (or ads in the posts) interest you, please click on them as a way of saying thank you.

On the left sidebar, I have a link to my disclosure policy, my TOS, and the collection of posts I've written about this blog. I also have my button - if you're interested in posting it, please do, and if you'd like me to post yours, let me know.

Then I have ads. Many of these ads change periodically to showcase other related blogs and sites (Spottt, 125 Ad Exchange, Adgitize, Moms Ad Exchange, Project Wonderful). There is also a permanent ad for Tutor.com and one for Adgitize. (Incidentally, if you're interested in online tutoring, you can also feel free to contact me; my rates are very reasonable compared to the online services).

After that comes a list of buttons and other helpful sites. These are all great sites to visit. If you want to be listed here, let me know. I am happy to list other blogs and sites that are appropriate in return for some mutual link love.

- Cents in the Cities is a money-saving blog also geared for MSP metro area readers.
- Hey It's Free is a site that posts lots of freebies.
- Hooray for Free-bates focuses primarily on mail-in rebates to get free products, although she shares other tips as well.
- Money Saving Methods posts about freebies, money-making opportunities, online offers, and much more.

Stay tuned for part 2 tomorrow!
