Consumer Critique: World Animal Adventure

I've been asked by Mom Central to review Baby Einstein's World Animal Adventure, which will be available on September 29th. This DVD features songs inspired by countries around the world, puppet shows, and Spanish and French languages. My favorite feature is the "moms and babies" features, which shows animal moms with their kids. My toddler has been really interested in moms and babies lately anyway, since we've been talking about babies a lot with the new arrival I'm expecting. So this kind of feature really attracts her attention. It's 35 minutes, or can be viewed in little 5 minute segments. The animals featured aren't nearby animals like dogs or cats, but faraway ones like baboons, kangaroos, and monkeys - it's like bringing part of a zoo inside (without the mess)! It's short enough for quick attention spans (especially broken into segments), and provides a nice way to interact with your baby while talking about animals and dancing to the music. It retails for $19.99, or you can also buy it at Amazon:

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Baby Einstein and received a World Animal Adventure DVD to facilitate my candid review.
