I've been taking surveys with MediaCurves. They're really quite fun. Survey topics are always very current and usually involve watching a short video. Some recent surveys were comparing presidential speeches and American Idol judge evaluations.
Not only are the surveys really current and some have helped me learn something (especially the ones regarding current political figures) but you can also earn some money while doing them.
