Parenting Pointers: Homemade Baby Rattle

If your kids are anything like mine, they are fascinated just by every day objects. Family Fun had a tip about turning mismatched baby socks into homemade no-sew rattles. Stuff the sock with cotton batting or another stuffing. Put a bell or some other ball with a noise maker inside the batting. Twist the end of the sock, wrap it over itself, but it inside another sock, and securely tie ribbons around the top (my daughter would probably love the ribbons the best).
