Consumer Critique: Burt's Bees Acne Solutions

As a member of BzzAgent I recently received a sample of Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions to review.

First of all, I'm always on the lookout for products that are natural, and that work, so this was a good option for me to try. Plus, my husband still battles acne, so he was a perfect test subject:)

We were able to test out the purifying gel cleanser and the targeted spot treatment. Both are made using salicylic gel from willow bark, and contain no synthetic ingredients. I also like that Burt's Bees makes all packaging from recycled or recyclable products (luckily that's becoming easier to find nowadays). It's also easy to find Burt's Bees - most major retailers carry them.

As far as how well it worked - it worked very nicely. The cleanser worked as well as any other cleanser we've used. We could feel it working, and it definitely makes my husband's face less oily. The spot treatment worked well, too, although we didn't get much chance to try it - of course, when I'm supposed to be testing an acne treatment, that's when my husband doesn't break out! (Of course, it could be that the cleanser really worked better than other cleansers, which is a strong possibility). It definitely was non-irritating, and had a pleasant, relatively neutral fragrance as well.

If you've tried Burt's Bees products before, you'll be happy with this addition to the line. If you're looking for natural skin care solutions, you should definitely check it out!
