Consumer Critique: Charmin Ultra Soft

I recently received a sample of Charmin Ultra Soft to test and review.

Now, it is a little bit deceptive, I think, that they claim it is 4 times as absorbent - that using a leading value brand takes 4 times more tissue for the same absorbency. After all, they're comparing their thicker, multi-ply with the sandpaper one-ply generic brand. I've tried plenty of store brands that also make softer, multi-ply or quilted versions.

However, Charmin is soft. And it is absorbent. It frequently goes on sale and there are often coupons, which makes it an even better buy than at full price. It doesn't fall apart upon using, but is easy to tear off the right amount.

Writing a toilet paper review seems a little strange, because there isn't really much to say. This gets the job done - and was even comfortable to use after the birth of my daughter, which was a good thing. If you haven't already, check it out!
