Money Makers: Sponsored Tweets

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Sponsored Tweets. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'm sure you've noticed the badge at the end of some of my posts - the ones that are sponsored by Izea/Social Spark. That is also a nice money-maker if you have a blog, but today I'd like to look at one subset - sponsored tweets.

Joining this program is really easy. To participate, you set your minimum price for a sponsored tweet and add keywords describing your blog. You'll be notified if someone wants to post a link on your Tweet. You can accept it, or reject it if it doesn't fit your Tweeting style. You write your own Tweet with the required link, and indicate that it is sponsored. It's then automatically Tweeted from the program, and a little while later the money shows up in your account.

You are expected to be open about Tweets being sponsored and adhere to their terms of service. Ads are not sent without your approval, and they follow a code of ethics that includes disclosure, authenticity, choice, and transparency. They are a whitelisted Twitter application, which means that you can trust that your privacy and account settings are safe, even if you sign up.

Are you Interested? You can sign up for sponsored tweets here.
