If you haven't heard of ICE, it stands for "In Case of Emergency" and is a way to designate certain numbers in your cell phone as emergency numbers. That way if something happens to you, people who find your phone know who to call.
iPhone is taking it one step farther. For those with an iPod touch or iPhone, you can download ICE App, which was developed by Donate Life America (encouraging people to sign up to become organ donors) and LegalZoom (fast and inexpensive ways to complete basic legal documents).
The ICE app is free. It's easy to use, and collects emergency numbers and essential medical information, such as blood type and allergies or other conditions. It takes just minutes to download and set up, and is another way to make sure you're covered in case of an emergency.
