Website Spotlight: FedEx Out of Office

FedEx has generally been known as a shipping company, and more recently has branched into copy & print services as well, primarily for small offices/home-based workers. Now they're launching a site targeted towards non-office workers - especially families. The new Out of Office Blog features ideas for easy crafts, and useful organization projects. The crafts are fairly easy, inexpensive, and - my favorite part - able to look good even if you aren't an experienced crafter. Sometimes the blog entries are links to templates found at other websites, such as the post about a chore schedule that was found at Project Girl. Other times it's a plug for using stationery and encouragement to actually *gasp* write real letters. One recent craft idea was a simple leaf placemat project. Sometimes there are just tips on communication and organization.

I found the website to be very informative, and although it's sponsored by FedEx, doesn't come across as a giant advertising blog. Check it out for more great home organization tips and family-friendly ideas.

“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of FedEx Office. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
