Consumer Critique: Soft Scrub Total

softscrub_total

I was given a complimentary bottle of the new Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl to try out and review.

This product markets itself as being versatile enough to replace other cleaners. Most people use a glass cleaner for mirrors, a toilet bowl cleaner for the toilet bowl, and an all purpose cleaner or tub/tile cleaner everywhere else. There are several nifty features about the bottle itself that make it unique right away. First of all, the bottle sprays well upside-down. This means you can use it to accurately spray right around the toilet bowl. Secondly, the flip-top means that you can have the cleaner come out as a thick foam for really dirty spots, or a fine spray for everywhere else.

I was not at all surprised that the same cleaning product could be used for tile surfaces, counter tops, and the inside of the toilet bowl. I was very pleased that the foam was thick enough to clean the bowl with virtually no scrubbing (at least, when there were no stubborn stains in the bowl). What I was surprised about was the fact that it cleaned the mirror very well with no streaking - not many all-purpose cleansers can do that. Soft Scrub left no film on any surface, and was effective and easy to use.

Right now you can print coupons worth $1 or $1.50 for various Soft Scrub products.
