Consumer Critique: Banquet

Banquet has been saying "Thanks a Million" to their customers by giving away thousands of dollars. Banquet frozen meals with the "Thanks a Million" logo contain a special thank you gift, either a coupon or cash prizes worth $10 to $100,000 (read the full Thanks a Million rules here). Right now, they anticipate that all of the packages will be purchased some time this month, so if you buy Banquet frozen meals, now is a good time to go out and buy them!

Banquet makes a variety of meals, from pot pies to individual frozen dinners to family-size meals. I really like their pot pies and often buy them when they go on sale. I've had mixed success with the frozen individual meals, although most of them are tasty (there are only a few flavors I wouldn't buy again). There are a lot of chicken products (breast strips, nuggets, etc) and sausage options. My favorite, however, are the crock pot meals. I've found that those tend to be the most flavorful, plus I can customize them pretty easily if I want to add more veggies to the mix. For frozen convenience foods, Banquet provides good quality options at an affordable price.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Banquet and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
