Consumer Critique: Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs

I recently had a chance to have a House Party for Nabisco 100-Calorie packs.

They're currently use the slogan "diet like a diva" with Venus and Serena Williams as spokespeople. The House Party pack was cute - it contained little plastic martini glasses. My daughter actually got a kick out of those.

As far as the actual product itself, my pack had fudge shortbread and mint fudge shortbread. Both of them were delicious - and I'm glad that they were pre-packaged into smaller portions, because I'm sure I would've eaten way more than 100 calories at once. They are more expensive per serving than getting similar snacks in a bigger bag, but they do provide automatic portion control, and when you combine coupons with sales, you can get 100-calorie packs at very reasonable prices. It does make sense for people who, like me, find it hard to stop eating a potentially addictive snack - I finish the pack and then I'm done, no more. And they taste good enough to be nicely satisfying (especially when I'm craving something sweet and crunchy). You can even dress them up using some of Nabisco's great recipes for things like kabobs, dips, mini sandwiches, and snack mixes!
