Right now Dole is promoting a DoleCookOff contest.
To enter, provide an original recipe for an entrée that highlights at least one can of Dole Fruit or Juice, and no more than seven additional ingredients. Judging criteria for the Grand Prize Winner will be based on best use of Dole Canned Fruit or Juice, creativity, and flavor and taste.
Five lucky finalists will win a trip for two to Los Angeles where they will participate in the California Cook-Off event with celebrity chef Ben Ford. Airfare, three nights’ accommodations, a rental car and spending money are included.
The California Cook-Off event will be held at the Epicurean School of Culinary Arts, where winners will be teamed up with a professional blogger as a "sous" chef, who will chronicle the cooking process and feature the dish on their site! Plus the Grand Prize winning recipe will appear on cans of DOLE Fruit nationwide!
If you don't have a recipe to enter, you can also participate in the instant win game. When you register at DoleCookOff you’ll be automatically entered to win one of more than 100 great prizes from Cooking.com, and you can earn extra entries for telling your friends. The contest runs through May 7th.
Dole has also provided some coupons for free Dole products for me to give away to my readers, as well as a coupon for a free Dole product as a thank-you for writing this post. To enter, post your favorite way to use/eat Dole products.
