I recently found out about a great promotion that Lunchables is doing called Field Trips For All. The video above is an "Alien Field Trip" that's an example of a great experience kids can have.
Right now, many school budgets are bare-bones, and more and more districts and schools need to cut out field trips as a way to save money. But field trips are a great way to help kids learn. As a teacher, I know how valuable it is for kids to see things in action and figure out how their learning and studying really does relate to real life.
Lunchables Lunch Combinations wants to help kids across the country go on field trips. “Field Trips For All” is the first project from the Lunchables' new initiative, Project Potential. Project Potential will try to help kids reach their full potential by providing experiences kids might otherwise not have.
Anyone six years old or older can nominate a classroom by going to Lunchables.com/potential and submitting a nomination. Fifty classrooms will be selected to win.
I'd love to nominate my church's grade school. They're a small school with a limited budget, and it would be great to be able to provide the school with a really good experience that the kids will remember!
